What They're Saying About Us...

These are exciting times for the FriendShop, which welcomes tourists and locals alike

as they support the Library with purchases ranging from the gross (nose pencil sharpener)

to the expertly crafted.

In May, the Shop hosted two events.  KAV Designs had a blast showing off her wares, and Karen Lewis sold out!  Is it any wonder a yelper gave a shout out to the Shop?

What can we say?  People adore the booksales, so much so that this April's

received one marriage proposal, and The Seattle Times aptly illustrated the book love-in.

The sale was also extolled in the Wallingford blog and heralded on MYNorthwest.com.

It even allowed one blogger to redeem a forsaken piece of adopted cookware!

This past winter, many branches experienced reduction in hours, as reported on by the blog for Queen Anne, one of the areas affected by the limited service.
